Privacy

In short, the contact form prepares an email in your own email app. The site does not store what you type. I use privacy-restricted traffic measurement to understand whether the site works.

What I collect

If you use the contact form, the details stay in your browser until your email app opens. They reach me only if you choose to send the prepared email.

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and when someone opens the contact route. It cannot tell whether the prepared email was sent. Analytics and advertising storage, Google Signals and ad-personalisation signals are disabled.

The OpsKings interview is not loaded from YouTube until you choose to play it. Playing it connects your browser to YouTube's privacy-enhanced player.

Why I collect it

If you send the prepared email, I use it to understand your request and reply. The traffic measurement is used to check whether the site and contact route work.

Who processes it

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Traffic measurement is processed by Google. YouTube processes the interview player only if you choose to load it. Sent contact emails are processed by your email provider and mine.

How long I keep it

I keep a contact request while I need it to answer you and manage the conversation. I delete it sooner if you ask. The Google Analytics property is configured to retain event data for two months and user data for fourteen months.

Your rights

You can ask me to show, correct or delete the data I hold about you, or to stop using it. Under the GDPR you can also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
